Gutter Technician- All skill levels welcome! Horch Roofing Warren, ME
POSITION SUMMARY
A technician’s job is to gain knowledge in order to perform tasks involving physical labor at the shop, as well as on residential and commercial gutter projects. To conduct themselves in a safe manner consistent with “best practices” found in the construction trades; covers roof structures with appropriate material at heights; repairs issues on damaged gutters; operates hand and power tools of all types, and a variety of other equipment designed for the gutter industry; cleans and prepare sites and assist foremen and mechanics as instructed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows direction from managers and foremen. Perform daily tasks in a support role. Assists in loading and unloading trucks in the morning and evening, which includes: material and equipment. Lugs bundles and other materials. Assists in erecting and dismantling temporary safety barricades, staging, fences and other safety equipment. Installs gutters, downspouts, gutter blocking Cleans up debris and loads into dumpsters.
Cleans job site:
raking, sweeping, using a magnet on customers property.
Cleans trailers:
organizing and keeping trailers neat, putting away tools. Cleans trucks inside and out. Assists in keeping the shop neat, put tools away in the shop.
Maintains and repairs equipment:
including compressors, hoses, guns, brackets as needed. Familiarize and follow all safety rules and regulations, including using personal protective equipment as required by law and company policy; follow all procedures in Employee Handbook and in appropriate performance review class.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May operate a forklift under a Horch Roofing license if needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Attends training (including OSHA training) as required.

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
