Job DescriptionJob Summary:

The Regeneration Operator prepares resin, mobileequipment and ion exchange resin tanks for customer fulfillment.

Regenerates ion exchange resin and media with various chemicals.

Handles chemicals such as acids, bases and salts. Performs qualitycontrol checks on the equipment and is generally responsible fortasks performed by Plant Operations. Key Characteristics Ability toapply to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, anddiagram form Teamwork skills Dependable, accountable and diligentInitiative Follows EHS procedures and policies. Prepares labels forresin tanks Monitors bulk chemical delivery. Duties ℜsponsibilities Receives resin from customer sites in resin tanksor on mobile equipment. Empties tanks or equipment of the exhaustedmedia and prepares it for regeneration. Regenerates ion exchangeresins and media with acids, bases and other chemicals. Performsquality control checks on the equipment to ensure specificationsare met. Test may include pH, specific ions, resistivity, and TDS.Repairs and helps maintain the bottles/tanks and other service typeof equipment, which could include minor valve/PVC repairs,painting, and refurbishing as required. Prepares resin tanks ormobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media.

Separates ion exchange resins as required We take safety seriouslyand require everyone to wear personal protective equipment, forexample safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, asrequired Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge, Skills& Abilities At least 1 year of experience in comparablemanufacturing environment involving chemical handling, or at least1 year of experience in plumbing, pump or mechanical repair. Thisis a physical job where you will need to perform frequent liftingand bending motions, use hand tools and manually manipulateproducts/ equipment. Operate Forklift as needed

Computer Knowledge,preferably SAP Education & Experience Required:

HS Diploma, GED orequivalent. Possess a valid driver’s license and clean drivingrecord history

Preferred:

HS Chemistry knowledge highly desiredWorking Conditions Ability and willingness to complete occasionalsite assignments for customer troubleshooting, operation andinstallation.
