Location:
Davidson , NC- All projects will be within a 3 hour range of the main office in Davidson, NC.
Position Summary:
Oversee and support field operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with company and OSHA regulations. Work closely with project management and field crews to execute projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, address violations, and collaborate with the safety team to improve procedures.
Project Oversight:
Plan materials, equipment, and manpower needs. Conduct inspections, monitor progress, and troubleshoot issues.
Team Leadership:
Support foremen, coordinate staffing, and assist in training. Ensure morale and efficiency on-site.
Quality & Production Control:
Maintain high standards, monitor subcontractor performance, and address production or scheduling challenges.
Cost Management:
Track labor, material, and equipment costs, identifying ways to improve efficiency and reduce overruns.
Reporting & Improvement:
Provide updates to management, identify best practices, and drive innovation for better performance.
Qualifications:
Millwright experience a must. Rigging is a strong preference! High School Diploma/GED (Associate degree in construction-related field preferred). 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints, manage crews, and ensure safety compliance.
Salary:
95K BOE + per diem +
