Current Pay Level Range:

$22.75•$32.50 per hour

Position Summary:

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

This position requires that you be able to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery. This position also requires trouble shooting of various mechanical issues in an industrial setting. This position requires the use of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation that is required in the system.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis. The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours. The Team Member will work in warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees. The Team Member will work in wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors. The Team Member may be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust), and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. The Team Member will complete all required training, both hands on and computer based, as required for the job.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers.
