Position Summary:

American Equipment, aleader in in-house crane fabrication, parts, service, and materialhandling is hiring a Crane Maintenance Service Technician for ourPittsburg, CA branch. Join our team and be part of a 50 year legacyto provide unmatched customer service!

Responsibilities:

Performon-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations onelectric overhead traveling cranes Spend time consulting withcustomers on repair and safety related issues Troubleshootequipment malfunctions and breakdowns. Generate sales leads duringservice calls Accurately and neatly document on the service reportfor the work performed. New crane wiring, assembly, installation,and start-up. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Travelmay be required. Work vehicle provided.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability totroubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems. A.A. degree orEquivalent vocational-training or experience is preferred. Aminimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance Aptitudefor both electrical and mechanical environments as well asfamiliarity with mechanical and electrical equipment Willingness towork overtime Possession of a valid driver’s license with gooddriving record Must pass drug-screen and background check Strongcommunication skills Proven commitment to safety Comfort withworking at heights Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLCprogramming a plus Crane maintenance experience a plus.

Schedule:
