Position Overview:
Responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and enhancement tasks on process line machinery. Duties include conducting regular preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, and gears to minimize production downtime. The role also involves performing minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs as needed within the facility. The technician is expected to lead and train fellow associates in safe and effective practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all maintenance aspects during new equipment installations. Monitor mechanical performance and communicate effectively to identify solutions. Implement and follow up on solutions to ensure successful outcomes. Adhere to the quality management system, including compliance with procedures and development of product documentation for safe assembly and use.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience, particularly in automation and PLC controls within industrial settings. Highly adaptable individual capable of responding to changes swiftly. Experience in diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems. Familiarity with operating shop equipment such as cranes, hoists, saws, and power tools, as well as forklifts and scissor lifts. Ability to pass a welding test in MIG and stick welding. Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs and adjustments, including both AC and DC systems up to 600V.
