Hiring Maintenance Technician 2nd shift – 3p-11pm $30-37hr Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, including injection molding machines, lathes, waterjets, routers, and robotics. You will ensure prompt identification and resolution of machine problems to minimize equipment downtime, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. The role requires reading and applying electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams, performing preventative maintenance checks, and operating plant production equipment. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment such as injection molding machines, lathes, waterjets, routers, and robotics. Repair and diagnose problems with auxiliary equipment like thermolaters, chillers, air compressors, and cooling towers. Conduct root cause analysis to minimize equipment downtime and prevent reoccurrences. Read, understand, and apply electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams. Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment. Operate basic functions of all plant production equipment. Perform equipment failure analysis and troubleshoot equipment problems. Calibrate and repair hydraulic machines. Repair broken parts and perform building repairs as needed. Machine parts for rebuilding manufacturing equipment. Install new equipment. Adhere to OSHA safety rules and standards, emphasizing safe work habits. Enforce the highest standards in safety and good manufacturing practices. Demonstrate continuous improvement methodologies and participate in departmental meetings. Provide constructive operational and efficiency improvement recommendations. Have hands-on knowledge of pick-and-place and welding robotic systems (Sepro, CLOOS). Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Strong background in PLC, electronics, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic repairs. Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Experience and good working knowledge of injection molding machine processes. Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety rules and standards. Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams.
