Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and control panels
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and plumbing tasks as needed
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, records, and work orders
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE
- Support continuous improvement efforts and suggest ways to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
- 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work on ladders, and operate hand/power tools
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts if required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- E-Verify eligibility required.
