The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. The Millwright will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various types of industrial machinery and equipment. Utilize stick welding techniques to perform necessary repairs and fabrications. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Perform field service tasks as required, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer needs. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in stick welding and other welding techniques is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is a plus. Ability to use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools effectively. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including the ability to read schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
