Job Description
Summary:
Seeking a skilled maintenance technician with expertise in press and die repair for a high-volume automotive assembly plant.
Requirements:
Experience working and repairing dies and stamping/press machines Ability to pass drug and background checks
Preferred Skills:
Welding knowledge (arc, MIG, TIG, spot) Familiarity with OSHA and plant safety rules
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical maintenance of large stamping presses and feed line equipment Conduct basic plumbing repairs, including drain replacements and pipe threading Maintain air compressors and air dryers Service conveyor systems (air, electric, vibro units) Handle hydraulic pumps, trash pumps, oil pumps Execute manlifts, ladder work, roof work, and outside tasks Rebuild cylinders and pumps of various types Fabricate scrap trays, chutes, work benches
