RF Systems Technican
Our client, a wireless systems integrator located in Homestead, FL, is currently in need of a RF Systems Technician for fulltime employment. The RF Systems Technician will work onsite and will be responsible for providing technical support on specialized communications systems and product applications.
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in LMR, RF systems, or IT systems Exposure to RF Systems including microwave systems, antenna networks, transmitters or receivers Proficient in collecting and delivering technical data-including antenna power readings, cable sweep results, and IP traffic analysis-using a range of test equipment and tools such as communications monitors, T1 test sets, antenna analyzers, network analyzers, and command-line interfaces (Cisco/Linux) via SSH, FTP, and Telnet Knowledge around IT Systems such as Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Red Hat, Cisco, etc. Must be able to lift items that weigh 70lbs on a regular basis Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Ability to travel 15% (will be overnight stays) Ability to achieve
FCC GROL
license within 180 days of employment (Client pays for training materials) Participate in on-call rotation every 2-3 weeks Valid US driver’s license
