Option 1: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST (Weekend OT as needed) Option 2: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST (Specify which shift is being hired for or note that both schedules are available)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to perform critical testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies for defense/aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in RF systems, component-level diagnostics, and environmental stress screening (ESS).
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate test apparatus for electronic assemblies following MIL-spec procedures Perform component-level troubleshooting using schematics for analog/digital circuits Conduct RF testing using network analyzers, signal generators, and RF power meters Execute vibration and thermal ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) tests Calibrate systems and replace faulty components per engineering directives Document test results and maintenance actions using Microsoft Suite/data systems Collaborate with engineers to develop/improve test procedures Maintain quality standards using statistical process controls
Required Qualifications:
1+ years of hands-on electronics testing experience Proficiency in: Component-level troubleshooting (solid state, digital, and RF circuits) Flying probe/high power testing Test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers) Ability to read/write technical English (schematics, manuals, reports) High School Diploma + technical training (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive RF testing experience Familiarity with radar systems Vibration/thermal ESS testing background Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field
