Position Summary The 2nd Shift – Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and replacing parts in the refrigerated cases. Essential Duties/Job Responsibilities (Job Duties) Use job specific tools and equipment to install refrigeration systems in refrigerated cases as per specifications. Inspect and test system operation of newly installed systems. Prepare equipment for installation including inspection/set up of electrical system. Assemble refrigeration components as per specifications.
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
High School Degree or
GED HVAC
certification a plus. Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and schematics Ability to work independently within a team environment Strong attention to detail Ability to skillfully and safely operate job specific tools and equipment Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Strong verbal communication skills
Experience:
A minimum of one year experience working with refrigeration systems. Experience in a light manufacturing setting preferred.
Requirements:
Work environment and working conditions are reflective of a light manufacturing setting. Perform work on concrete floors for duration of shift. Must be able to safely work with electrical parts and electrical charges. Must be able to lift and move (push, pull, carry) items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to raise arms above shoulders regularly and freely rotate arms/shoulders to lift/move parts. Must be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, bend and squat when needed. Work will include repetitive hand, arm, wrist, and leg motion.
