Job Description
Shop tech qualifications:
Very fast and vigorous paced work environment must be able to adapt to changes throughout the day. Must have good working knowledge of air compressors, generators, and some HVAC. Must have good trouble shooting skills of electrical.
Duties to include fueling equipment, oil /filter changes on diesel equipment, troubleshooting equipment, diagnose and repair equipment in the shop. No major overhaul of equipment, minor repairs such as removing radiators, changing fuel pumps, alternators, starters and belts, and standard maintenance of equipment.
Must have:
Clean background, no criminal history in the past 10 years.
Clean driving record past 5 years and must possess a valid state drivers license.
Must be able to pass random drug tests.
Must have own hand tools, wrenches, hammer, socket sets, adjustable wrenches, etc.
Must be willing to work overtime and some weekends.
Must be on time every day for a 7:00 AM start. Standard day 7:00 AM to 5:00PM with a half hour lunch for a total of a 9.5-hour workday during peak season, 8 hour work days in slow season, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays.
Pay range $18.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience.
