Support & Stability & Technology Training The Refrigeration Technician will install, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and commercial food service equipment. Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Braze and solder copper, brass and steel piping. Read gauges, meters, evac systems, etc. competently. Read and understand wiring system blueprints and schematics. Perform repairs promptly and efficiently Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions On Call rotation Qualifications CT D2 License EPA Certification Card type 1, 2, & Universal Valid Driver’s License Minimum of an OSHA 10 Certification. Proven experience with all types of commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins). Knowledge of R2-90 Systems and R-600 systems is a plus. Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, work in cold and hot conditions. Professional attitude, communication, and attire. Team player that is willing and able to learn new modalities and functions. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Refrigeration Technicians often face physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment (50+ lbs.), working in cramped spaces, and prolonged standing, bending and climbing ladders (ranging from step stools to full sized).
