This role requires prior experience in component overhauls and a strong understanding of fuel systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aviation fuel systems.
Location:
Pompano Beach, FL Schedule:
7:00 AM•3:30 PM (Monday•Friday)
Salary:
$24•$40 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and overhaul fuel system components in compliance with industry and FAA standards. Disassemble, clean, and evaluate fuel system components to identify faults and determine appropriate repairs. Perform functional testing and calibration of fuel systems to ensure peak performance. Document work performed, including detailed records of inspections, repairs, and testing. Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in fuel system component overhauls is required (aviation experience preferred). Solid understanding of fuel systems and components. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. FAA certifications or equivalent technical training in fuel systems (preferred but not required). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
