Summary This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Qualifications 1 Year Minimum of technical or trade school in ammonia refrigeration, electrical or HVAC, 5 years’ experience may substitute for school. must pass a pulmonary function test

MUST COMPLETE TOUR

Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening. Responsibilities During your work shift, which will consist of (10) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (50) pounds. Complete hourly checks documenting readings for all ammonia systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, recirculators, and any piping or associated equipment. Complete daily inspections of equipment. Maintain and monitor the ammonia refrigeration equipment within safety standards for the entire facility. Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance or repairs on forklifts. Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance or repairs on the building. You may be on-call at times as required for sufficient coverage. You will also be part of the HAZMAT response/cleanup team. At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine. Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines. Environment You may work extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 10 hours) You will be provided personal protective equipment (PPE). Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred) Tyson will purchase a pair of boots for you after 30 days on the job or you will be reimbursed up to a specified amount. Standing or walking up to 100% of the time May be exposed to the elements or extreme temperatures when working outside. Additional Notices This location does not accept rehires currently.
