Refrigeration Technician Lucid Group Atlanta, GA Work will be servicing refrigeration systems with Grocery stores Trader Joe’s Employer is a construction General Contractor Overview We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Refrigeration Technician will work with various equipment and must be comfortable interpreting schematics and performing hands-on repairs. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment. Troubleshoot issues with refrigeration units, including ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all service activities. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. Document all service activities accurately for record-keeping purposes. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration systems. Experience in HVAC/R is preferred; certification is a plus. Familiarity with service technician duties and responsibilities. Ability to read and understand schematics related to refrigeration systems. Skills in plumbing and basic electrical work are advantageous. Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Experience with equipment repair, particularly in industrial settings. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
