Full Job Description Job Summary:

Willis Mechanical is seeking a skilled Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Technician who has knowledge and experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. We provide ongoing service and new construction/renovations throughout the greater Atlanta area.

Key Responsibilities:

Observe and test industrial refrigeration system operations Safely perform preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems Troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems Document all repair details following company procedures Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory to ensure needed equipment is available Maintain safe working environments by complying with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in refrigeration service with ammonia Graduation from a technical school / CARO and CIRO Certifications Able to inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and take appropriate corrective action Able to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently Current driver’s license and impeccable driving record

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Pass a physical examination and respirator fit testing Availability to be on call on nights and weekends, as needed Has excellent communication and customer service skills Has basic technical skills and can use computers and electronic systems Organized, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic Earned EPA Universal and OSHA 30

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
