Job Description
Component-Shop Technician – Second Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 40 Wyoming Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401 C&L Aviation Services is currently seeking a full-time Component-Shop Technician to join our team on second shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) . This position involves performing component-based maintenance, repair, and inspections in our Component Shop under the direct supervision of FAA-certified Aircraft Technicians. No prior aviation experience is required —we’re looking for motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Technicians with servicing, maintenance, and component modifications Perform tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and performance goals Accurately complete all necessary documentation in compliance with FAA, customer, and company requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools and equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
Hands-on mechanical repair experience in any industry A strong desire to learn and grow in the aviation field Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Commitment to productivity, safety, and high-quality workmanship Ability to follow directions, procedures, and safety regulations Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, work in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders with loads up to 25 pounds Valid driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Information:
This is a second shift position, with working hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Employment is contingent upon passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test and participation in random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.
