The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in various environments. The Refrigeration Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all refrigeration systems operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment, including ammonia refrigeration units. Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter and other testing equipment. Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and safely. Perform equipment repairs and appliance repairs as needed. Build and assemble refrigeration components according to specifications. Provide field service support to clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any refrigeration-related concerns. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Experience Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including equipment repair and appliance repair. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not required. Experience in property maintenance is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
