Commercial Refrigeration Technician CD Mechanical Charlotte, NC Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Diagnose and service commercial refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and electrical controls Perform maintenance and service repairs on ice machine/cooler/freezer and other refrigerated systems (Superheat/Subcooling/Delta T) Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance procedures Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
OSHA 10 & 30
Certification EPA Certification Valid driver’s license with a clean record Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
