Hot Side Technician At-Temp Refrigeration Wake Forest, NC Job Details Full-time $35 – $55 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Professional development assistance Qualifications EPA Refrigeration Certification Schematics Equipment repair Mid-level CFESA 3 years High school diploma or GED Driver’s License EPA Universal Certification Automotive diagnostics Communication skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Position Summary Must be able to perform the following: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, grills, fryers, steamers Perform preventative maintenance, equipment startups, and modifications. Source and replace parts as necessary. Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to efficiently solve problems. Document service and maintenance activities Maintain a clean and professional appearance and manage vehicle inventory. Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions. Assist in estimating and identifying parts needed to maintain equipment in good working condition. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work area. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial cooking equipment. Strong knowledge of gas, electric, and steam equipment. Proficiency in electrical work and the ability to read diagrams and schematics. Possess a quality tool set for daily work functions. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work in extreme hot/cold temperatures, crouched positions for extended periods, and lift 75 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CFC certification and CFESA certification are a plus. Advanced certifications (EPA Universal, NATE, etc.) and specific brand experience area plus.
