PositionSummary:

• This position is responsible for operating, monitoring,and providing preventive maintenance to the refrigerationsystem.

Essential Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

Monitorthe refrigeration system to include compressors, components,condensers, air units, and air conditioning units, and performpreventive maintenance and repair as scheduled.

Basictroubleshooting, repair/PM of all refrigeration and ice conveyingequipment in plant and freezer areas.

Ability to start up equipmentduring pre-shift, such as an ice maker and chillers.

Electricaltroubleshooting on process and refrigeration equipment.

Complete thepaperwork and logs as required.

Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic mathskills required.

Ability to take accurate measurements and maintainpaperwork throughout shift.

Ability to communicate effectively andfollow verbal and written instructions & policies.

Accountable tomaintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled workhours.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Must be willing andable to perform physical requirements of the job with or withoutreasonable accommodation.

Must be at least 18 years of age andlegally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass abackground check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.

Somepositions may require the ability to read, write, and/or speakEnglish.

Physical Requirements:

Standing (8 hours a day ormore)Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling (up to and including50lbs or more).Operating handheld and/or mechanicalmachinery.

Walking/climbing stairs and ladders.

• Gripping,grasping, and twisting using hands and wrists.

Bending and stoopingfor long periods of time.

Ability to wear respirator and/or work inconfined spaces.

Working Conditions/Department Description:

Abilityto work in extreme temperature conditions, some below

• 20degrees.

Preventive maintenance is often scheduled on plant downdays or Saturdays.

There is mandatory seasonal work forapproximately 5 to 6 weeks during the months of October andNovember, which includes working 7 days per week.

Job assignmentsare subject to the supervisor’s discretion, and job duties may varyday-to-day depending on department needs.

May work in damp, cold,hot, and warm environments, and some jobs work in seasonal outdoorconditions.

Work with loud and noisy machinery and with or aroundchemicals/fumes/pungent odors.
