KPositionSummary:

This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, andproviding preventive maintenance to the refrigeration system

• Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities: Monitor refrigeration system toinclude compressors, components, condensers, air units and airconditioning units and perform preventive maintenance and repair asscheduled.

Basic trouble shooting/repair/PM of all refrigeration andice conveying equipment in plant and freezer areas.

Ability to startup equipment during pre-shift such as ice maker andchillers.

Electrical trouble shooting on process and refrigerationequipment.

Complete paperwork and logs as required.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic mathskills required.

Ability to take accurate measurements and maintainpaperwork throughout shift.

Ability to communicate effectively andfollow verbal and written instructions & policiesAccountable tomaintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled workhours.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphereMust be willing andable to perform physical requirements of the job with or withoutreasonable accommodation.

Must be at least 18 years of age andlegally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass abackground check, drug screen and pre-employment physical•

PhysicalRequirements:

Standing (8 hours a day or more)Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs ormore). Operating handheld and/or mechanical machinery.

Walking/climbing stairs and ladders. Gripping, grasping, andtwisting using hands and wrists. Bending and stooping for longperiods of time. Ability to wear respirator and/or work in confinedspaces.

Working Conditions/Department Description:

Shifts areapproximately 8 hours. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions, some below

• 20degrees.

Preventive maintenance is often scheduled on plant downdays or Saturdays. Job assignments are subject to the supervisor’sdiscretion, and job duties may vary day-to-day depending ondepartment needs. May work in damp, cold, hot, and warmenvironments and some jobs work in seasonal outdoor conditions Workwith loud and noisy machinery and with or aroundchemicals/fumes/pungent odors.
