Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team at a busy commercial truck dealership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience working with Carrier and Thermo King transport refrigeration systems . This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing refrigeration units on commercial trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot Carrier and Thermo King refrigeration systems Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on reefer units Inspect components, such as compressors, evaporators, and electrical systems Perform refrigeration system recovery, evacuation, and recharging Ensure work is completed to manufacturer standards and customer expectations Maintain accurate service records and work orders Provide clear communication with service advisors and customers Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience working with Carrier and Thermo King transport refrigeration units EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Skills:

OEM training or certification with Carrier and/or Thermo King CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) a plus Familiarity with diesel engine systems and trailer repair Basic computer skills for diagnostic tools and software Gabrielli Truck Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
