As an Equipment Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment in our stores, such as refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, restrooms, fuel pumps, and roller grills. Each day will bring a diverse array of tasks, from carpentry and low voltage electrical work to plumbing and specialized HVAC-R repairs. As our most skilled technician, you will also be responsible for handling higher priority calls and ensuring critical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Position Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a reputable refrigeration school or successful completion of an Apprenticeship Program. Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of HVAC-R systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, painting, and plumbing. Minimum of 2 years of refrigeration systems experience , including service and repair, with EPA Type II or Universal certification. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general equipment. Ability to efficiently route and prioritize work orders daily. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The hours for this position may vary according to projects and deadlines and could include overnights, holidays, and weekends. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
