HVAC Position Available In Putnam, Tennessee

This position is responsible for the upkeep of all HVAC/refrigeration and air handling systems consistent with the Medical Center’s strategies and objectives.

Included:

Assist the Plant Facilities Supervisor in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. Installation, troubleshoot, preventive maintenance, repair and service to all HVAC/refrigeration systems. Performs boiler watch, and helps other trades as needed/requested. Responsible for completing assigned task within the PM program. Performs other duties as assigned/requested. Maintains excellent working relationships with other hospital departments. Supports and carries out the hospital policies and procedures. Supports the Department Director, Supervisor, and department staff. High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school with courses in A/C, refrigeration, electrical required. Experience in another health care facility desirable. Computer experience needed. PLC knowledge desirable. Knowledge of chillers desirable. Must have good working knowledge of current city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manufacturer’s manuals, troubleshooting charts and procedures.
