GMC Service Technician Tameron Gulf Coast 27161 Us Hwy 98, Daphne, AL 36526 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles and systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. Requirements ASE Certified GMC Certified is a plus 5 Year Dealership Experience (Preferred) Will work some Saturdays Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and other mechanical systems. Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate cost assessments for repairs. Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality and safety standards. Execute welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or modifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex automotive issues and develop effective solutions. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance and repair. Experience with ADAS systems is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
