We are seeking someone who can lead a team that installs overhead doors and loads dock equipment.

Lead Service Technician Job Summary The Service Technician is responsible for completing customer installation and service requests. This position requires a customer-focused mindset and the ability to stay on task to complete jobs on time and in a quality manner. The technician will collaborate with managers, sales representatives, customers, and others to help ensure that jobs are completed as seamlessly as possible. This is a fast-paced and demanding role. Lead Service Technician Duties & Responsibilities Completes all assigned jobs in the budgeted time with a focus on quality. Ensure that they leave for daily jobs/tasks as efficiently as possible with the proper parts, tools, equipment, etc. needed to complete all jobs Work with customers, service managers, project managers, and sales representatives to resolve any field-related issues. Able to resolve sudden issues quickly as they arise in the field. Monitor the helper technician’s performance to ensure they are productive and help the technician stay on task and on time. Ensure that helper technicians are adequately trained or assisted for the jobs that they are performing. Managing and tracking inventory accounts for any parts used off the truck for a job. Responsible for and holding accountable for maintaining uniform and truck appearance/maintenance protocols. Expert in the use of power tools, welders, lifts, etc.. Completes goals as tasked. The position reports to the Service Manager. Lead Service Technician Skills and Qualifications A successful service technician will have strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail when completing incoming repair or installation requests. They must have a strong knowledge of the repairs and installations performed. Understanding construction terminology and best practices is required to communicate effectively with clients and field crews. The Service technician should have the skills and qualifications below: High school Diploma Excellent communication and organizational skills Knowledge of construction terminology and best practices Excellent knowledge of and ability to use a wide variety of tools and understand their application Experience with tasks performed by PCI Experience managing multiple jobs in a given day

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces as required in a warehouse environment. Physical agility and dexterity to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
