Responsibilities Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including CNC machines and lathes, to fabricate optical components. Conduct routine quality checks on products to ensure compliance with
ISO 13485
standards. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to understand specific optical needs and requirements. Utilize laboratory techniques to prepare and process optical materials efficiently. Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results for quality assurance purposes. Assist in the management of laboratory operations, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Stay updated on advancements in optical technology and incorporate new techniques into daily practices. Requirements Proven experience in an optical or laboratory setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to ophthalmology is a plus.
