JOB ROLE SUMMARY
As a Commercial Overhead Door/ Operable Wall Technician at Component Systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead doors for our valued customers. You will work with a team of professionals committed to delivering excellence and ensuring the safety and functionality of commercial overhead doors.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Install, maintain, and repair commercial overhead doors, operable walls, and related equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot door/wall system issues and develop effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and work performed. Always comply with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service delivery.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Commercial Overhead Door/ Operable Wall Technician or a related field. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Knowledge of various types of commercial overhead doors, operable walls, and associated equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects. Certification in overhead door installation and maintenance. Prior experience with welding and electrical work. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and equipment.
