JOB DUTIES:

Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily repair schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems independently Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; performing equipment repairs Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities; reading professional publications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to perform electrical system troubleshooting & repair Knowledge and experience with welding and fabricating Ability to perform hydraulic system troubleshooting & repair Ability to analyze information and come to clear precise solutions Ability to independently make good judgment Ability to adapt and secure client relationships Knowledge of equipment maintenance Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to focus on quality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent Three to five years of maintenance experience in the heavy equipment or trucking industries. Valid Driver’s License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

ASE Certification or Equivalent Training Program CDL-B License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time Capable of lifting 50 pounds Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl Ability to work in extreme temperatures Ability to travel when needed

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
