Industrial Forklift Technician – Field Service Shea Tractor 9066 US Highway 301 S, Statesboro, GA 30458
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Forklift Technician to join our Field Service team. As an Industrial Forklift Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial forklifts at customer sites. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues will ensure optimal performance and safety of the equipment. This is a field-based position, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Certification as an Industrial Forklift Technician preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial forklifts Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Strong attention to detail and safety protocols Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial forklifts Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues Replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed Document all repair and maintenance activities accurately and timely Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding forklift operation and maintenance Collaborate with the Field Service team to schedule and coordinate service calls Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing job duties Maintain a clean and organized work area Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Physical Requirements:
