Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Deliver a positive customer service experience.
Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting support to walk-in customers and respond to support requests on campus in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot Tier 1 software and hardware issues.
Provide technical assistance and training to faculty and staff. Install software and hardware accessories.
Prepare and install lab and faculty/staff computers.
Decommission end-of-life devices.
Assist with AV installations and ongoing maintenance.
Support ID/mobile credential operations, including the use of a cash register.
Manage asset inventory.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with the team on Department of Support Automation projects.
Assist with internal and external events from an IT perspective.
Provide support to both Georgia Southern and Augusta University constituents. Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability

Scheduling Requirements:

Availability must range from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM with flexibility for occasional weekend assignments.
A minimum commitment of 15 hours per week up to 25 hours maximum, with availability on at least three weekdays (Monday•Friday).
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Proposed Salary $10.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis. Required Documents to Attach
