Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Repair and Maintenance:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems Support the client: Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free
Customer Service:
Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines
Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas related issues with commercial kitchen equipment
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or certification preferred Experience a minimum of 3-5 years in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager Ability to lift to 55 pounds Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude Preferred relevant certifications such as
EPA 608, CFESA
(Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy Must be able to pass a satisfactory background and drug screening Computer skills including Microsoft office Knowledgeable about all safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
