Cell Phone Repair Technician AdvanceTech Decatur, GA 30034 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Phone Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in mobile device repair and troubleshooting, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Mobile Phone Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that devices are functioning optimally for our customers. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various mobile devices. Perform repairs including screen replacements, battery changes, and other hardware fixes using hand tools. Provide technical support to customers regarding operating systems, software troubleshooting, and device functionalities. Analyze device performance and recommend solutions to enhance user experience. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each device. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction. Assist in retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs. Experience Proven experience in field service or technical support roles related to mobile devices. Familiarity with computer hardware and various operating systems including Mac OS. Proficient in software troubleshooting techniques for mobile applications. Experience with soldering components as needed for repairs is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers. A background in retail sales is advantageous but not required.
