The ideal candidate will possess a natural aptitude for problem-solving, a keen interest in technology, and a readiness for hands-on, in-person training and work. You will be responsible for maintaining various POS system components, including handheld devices, terminals, scanners, servers, printers, cash drawers, and security components, in a fast-paced environment that requires meticulous attention to detail and a professional demeanor. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Ensure customer hardware or software meets specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on POS equipment. Adhere to customer contracts for warranty, third-party, or internal repairs. Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and parts according to contracts. Maintain accurate inventory and repair records as per company and customer expectations. Communicate effectively with the Supervisor regarding customer equipment and needs. Adhere to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) needs and requirements. Follow safety guidelines for the repair area. Assist in maintaining the repair area. Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management. Skills and Personal Attributes Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate across departments. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Able to read and understand repair and specification documentation. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Microsoft Excel (Preferred) Experience with Microsoft Outlook (Preferred) CompTIA A+ (Preferred) Additional Requirements Able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Able to report to work at the scheduled time.
