The preferred candidate must be able to demonstrate the basic understanding of purchasing activities. Additionally, the preferred candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and attention to detail. The work environment is occasionally fast paced; however, quality is never to be compromised, either in the work activity being accomplished, or the components being purchased or repaired. Above average communication skills both written and verbal, are required. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate suppliers based upon quality, cost, services offered, other capabilities, and turn time
  • Request regular updates on repair progress, costs, and timelines, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Building relationship with repair stations and communicating with them on open repair orders.
  • Assessment problematic repairs.
  • Expediting completion of open repair orders and obtaining repair quotes.
  • Maintain supplier’s purchase and/or repair price quotes in Avgroup’s ERP system
  • Serve as the liaison between Avgroup and assigned suppliers
  • Issue purchase, repair, exchange, and warranty claims as needed
  • Monitor open purchase orders, repair orders, exchange orders, and warranty claims to ensure timeliness of completion both externally and internally
  • Assist in the coordination of clearing inbound rejection issues
  • Manage work activities in accordance with department and company key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Provide sales with regular updates on repair progress, costs, and timelines, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time Skills Associate’s degree in Aviation Management, and / or a related field.

Equivalent work experience may be considered. Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, or other relevant aviation regulations and standards. Working knowledge of Pentagon ERP platform Analytical and problem-solving ability Providing exceptional service to both vendors and customers Individual must possess good verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic about work and reacts well under pressure Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment where priorities can change quickly Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage time effectively experience Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook) or equivalent Join our team as a Repairs Manager where you can make a significant impact by leading our repair operations to success!
