You’ll be responsible for both the installation and ongoing maintenance of generator systems—helping power homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure with confidence and reliability. Key Responsibilities Installation Install generators, transfer switches, conduit, wiring, and control panels Perform clean, safe, and code-compliant electrical terminations Program electronic components as required Accurately complete service and warranty documentation Utilize computers for diagnostics, system updates, and reports Stay current through ongoing training and technical certifications Service Diagnose and repair generator and related electrical systems Replace components efficiently with minimal downtime Interpret both paper and digital schematics and diagrams Conduct standard maintenance, including oil and filter changes, spark plug replacements, and general servicing Respond to service calls and perform emergency repairs as needed What Success Looks Like You complete high-quality work with attention to detail and safety You communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, leadership, and clients You manage time effectively, work independently, and stay organized You contribute positively to team culture and are open to mentoring or leadership growth You are available and flexible for after-hours generator service calls Qualifications Demonstrated experience with generator installation and electrical service Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Comfortable using computers for service records and diagnostics Must provide your own tools and drill set Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development Availability for after-hours and emergency service work What We Offer Competitive pay range: $20-$26/hour , commensurate with experience Stable, full-time position with long-term growth potential A values-driven culture built on Growth, Trust, and Excellence A supportive team environment focused on high standards and collaboration Opportunity to advance into leadership roles as the company expands Apply Today Be part of a company that recognizes your craftsmanship, values your professionalism, and invests in your future.
