The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, and field service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and appliances. Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems effectively. Execute repairs involving plumbing, welding, and mechanical adjustments as needed. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to design and build solutions tailored to customer needs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment or appliance repair. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings. Experience in field service roles is preferred. Skills in welding and plumbing are advantageous. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers.
