Senior Mechatronics Technician-Beverly, MA Direct Hire Salary:

$75-90K Summary/Objective The Senior Mechatronics Technician willprovide technical assistance and support by testing, servicing,troubleshooting, and addressing technical inquiries. This rolecollaborates closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, andManufacturing team members to troubleshoot and repair actuators.

The senior mechatronics technician is responsible for drivingcustomer satisfaction through service excellence. EssentialFunctions

• Work hands-on with a wide variety of assembly and testequipment and processes with a focus on electro-mechanical assemblyand functional test
• Participate in root-cause analysis andcorrective action of functional discrepancies
• Review customerfield data to determine trends
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair andre-assemble electromechanical components/assemblies for return tocustomer
• Configure hardware and software components afterinstallation
• Communicate real time data to Assembly Operationsand Engineering to ensure process and design enhancements areimplemented to improve yield in the field
• Provide assistance tocustomers upgrading equipment at various field locations
• Documentfield installation and repairs
• Maintain all tools and equipmentused during service calls and in local lab
• Manage administrativeresponsibilities such as ordering repair parts, lab and officeconsumables
• Educate and train customers on proper use ofequipment Competencies
• Proficient with servo drives, digitalencoders and electric motors.
• Experience interfacing with bothinternal team members and external customers as part of asolution-based service process
• Soldering per IPC-610, wiring,crimping, and using hand and power tools.
• Strong ability to usecommon diagnostic equipment including an oscilloscope, DMM, powersupply, etc.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanicaland electrical technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficient with Phython programing is a plus
• Demonstrated stronganalytical thinking, capacity to evaluate and interpret data, testresults, and system performance to make informed decisions
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence is aplus
• Proficient with data visualization tools to createcomprehensive reports for technical/non-technical audiences
• Ability to work creatively and responsibly with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP, etc.)

• Visual acuity (corrected) toread directions, colors and drawings to inspect electro-mechanicalparts
• Manual dexterity sufficient to conduct precision work
• Ability to do work requiring frequent stooping, bending, squatting,kneeling, bending, twisting and lifting
• Frequently required tosit, stand, move, talk, hear, bend and reach with hands / arms.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds PositionType/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exemptposition which operates during normal business hours Monday throughFriday. Weekend and after-hour support may occasionally berequired. Travel Occasional trips to customer locations may berequired. Required Education and Experience
• Associate’s degree inManufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, or related discipline required; advanced degree is aplus.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical,electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience withCAN, CAN-Open, PLC logic, Copley Controls and Python Scripts.

EtherCAT is a plus.
