This is a full-time position; some overtime may be required. Employment is contingent upon a background check. Job Summary Travel to medical facilities and perform on-site surgical instrument inspection and repair. Learn various types of surgical instruments, their intended use and general repair/sharpening of the instruments. Candidates will work closely with the local sales reps to develop each customer account, schedule visits and build relationships. This position requires some overnight travel and reports directly to the Director of Operations. Job Duties Inspect, disassemble, troubleshoot, sharpen, and repair of stainless-steel surgical hand instruments. Document all repairs accurately. Coordinate daily workload with customers. Work closely with sales reps to secure new customers and further develop current customers. Ability to lift fifty pounds, stand or sit for long periods of time. Maintain Mobile Repair van and all associated equipment. Required Experience High School Diploma or GED. Vocational/Technical education preferred, experience working in sterile processing desirable Strong communication skills, Customer service experience is desirable.
