Theatrical Systems Installer Major Theatre Equipment Quincy, MA 02170 Job Summary Major Theatre has been a leader manufacturing and installing stage equipment since 1953. Rigging installers are needed for installation of pipe grids, rigging systems, stage curtains and screens for theaters, schools, studios, cinemas, and commercial spaces. Our ideal candidate should have some construction exposure and have mechanical aptitude. While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidates. Qualifications Good attention to detail Ability to lift 50 pounds Need to be able to work from heights Must have a good driving record, valid license and be able to pass a CORI check Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to communicate, coordinate and cooperate with customers, vendors and contractors. Thank you for your interest in our installer position. This position is located in Quincy MA but travel throughout the US is required. Some specifics of what we do include installation of stage rigging and draperies, pipe grids for lighting systems, movie screens, draperies and track for restaurants and commercial spaces. Position would be reviewing paperwork and drawings, assembling materials, driving to install location, and installing equipment.
