Position Summary We are seeking a full-time In-House Repair Lead to act as the key liaison between customers and our in-house service team. This role is essential in coordinating repair logistics, maintaining shop workflow, and ensuring high-quality service delivery from intake to final inspection. You’ll combine administrative coordination with technical support to help streamline operations and exceed customer expectations. This is less of a hands-on position and more of an administrative role. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for in-house repair customers, delivering excellent customer service via phone and email Generate quotes for repair and refurbishment jobs; communicate details to customers promptly Maintain shop schedule and ensure efficient workflow among in-house technicians Assist technicians with diagnostics and minor repairs as needed Oversee shop equipment and tool inventory Conduct final inspections on completed repairs alongside senior technicians Coordinate pick-up and drop-off appointments for repair tubs Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure proper invoicing prior to product redelivery Partner with Service Technicians and Coordinators to support cross-departmental service needs Participate in weekly Service Department meetings Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance department efficiency
Requirements:
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in customer service and scheduling, including proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel 1-3 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or a similar technical trade is desirable Strong technical aptitude with solid computer skills Strong customer service mindset Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills High school diploma or equivalent Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude Collaborative team player willing to support other departments as needed Willingness to work extended hours as required Core hours/schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
