JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title:

Repair Test Technician 4 Reports to:

Regional Center Manufacturing Manager Position Summary:

The Repair Test Technician 4, diagnosis, repairs, and maintains electronic equipment and systems, ensuring they function properly. This role requires a strong understanding of electronics, ability to troubleshoot problems, and proficiency in using electronic testing equipment.

Essential Functions:

Conduct production testing on circuit board products or electronic assemblies Troubleshoot failures to component level and conduct repairs Use test equipment to determine pass/fail requirements Use of environmental chambers to determine quality assurance Ensure personal compliance with Quality Systems processes Proactively participate in safety and lean programs Setting up test with minimal supervision Provide guidance to Electronic Technician

II & III

Work cross functionally with Production and Engineering teams to assist with testing and troubleshooting as needed. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations. Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

Knowledge:

Ability to use basic test equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators and counters Ability to use advanced test equipment such as Network & Spectrum analyzers, Radio Test Sets, etc.

Required Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics with 1+ year of experience OR Associate’s Degree in Electronics with 4+ years of experience

Preferred Education and Experience :

Previous soldering experience Good verbal and written communication skills; legible handwriting Ability to work in a team environment Detail-oriented Previous experience using advanced test equipment Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment Able to work with minimal supervision Previous experience training others Demonstrated leadership skills
