ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Assist Inspectors while they inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes
• Perform testing and maintenance under direct supervision of an Inspection/Service Technician.
• Developing knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes, standard fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems and their devices, critical components and operations.
• Inspect, install and repair of kitchen fire suppression systems (hoods) from various manufacturers.
• servicing, repairing and maintaining the portable fire equipment and emergency exit lighting systems
• Find and correct inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
