IT Technician/ Office equipment repair Total Laser Care of NC, Inc Raleigh-Durham, NC Total Laser Care of NC Inc. is a trusted name in providing reliable and cost-effective solutions for office technology, including copiers, multifunction devices (MFPs), and IT support. We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician who is not only experienced in general IT support but also has hands-on knowledge of copier and MFP repair and maintenance.
Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced IT Technician who can wear multiple hats. The ideal candidate will provide IT support across a range of systems and also perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on printers and multifunction devices. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for computer systems, networks, and software applications Maintain and troubleshoot issues with printers, copiers, and multifunction devices (MFPs) Install, configure, and support Microsoft Office 365 applications and environments Deploy and maintain antivirus software across client devices Manage network printers and troubleshoot connectivity or driver issues Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory Provide remote and on-site support as needed Work with vendors to source parts and supplies for printer repairs
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in IT support and/or printer/MFP maintenance Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Experience with antivirus software deployment and maintenance Familiarity with Windows OS and general networking concepts Ability to diagnose and repair laser printers and MFPs from major brands (Sharp Xerox, HP, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift equipment and travel to client sites (valid driver’s license required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor-specific printer repair certifications Experience working in a managed services or field service environment
