  • As a Service Technician, you will be expected to answer the bell by consistently being punctual, prepared, and demonstrating the highest level of professionalism.

Your role involves proactively planning for every service order and request, performing calibrations and preventative maintenance on industrial scales and other weighing equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties on industrial scales and other weighing equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

+ Actively listen to customer feedback to align expectations and requirements for success. + Communicate effectively to manage customer expectations, especially when things do not go to plan, and if service work requires multiple trips. + Diagnose and troubleshoot customer equipment, understanding connections and integration points with other equipment. + Achieve all customer service level agreements to support their production goals. + Work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends. + Support workflow and Service Order data management requirements using company-provided tools and applications. + Discuss risks with customers and explore opportunities to upgrade equipment or sell service contracts for preventative maintenance. + Engage in conversations with customers interested in modernizing and upgrading equipment using CIS Lead Management tools. + Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with sales to discuss repair versus replace options. + Solicit referrals for new customers and direct this information to sales staff and service manager. + Maintain inventory and tools in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Mechanical and electrical repair + Field service and preventive maintenance + Electrical troubleshooting and installation + HVAC systems and schematic reading
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + High School diploma required; Associates or higher degree in electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.

+ Experience in the weighing industry preferred. + Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical devices. + Proficiency with digital communication, data management, and documentation tools. + Self-starter capable of working independently and in teams. + Ability to document all aspects of service required and performed. + Clear communication skills with customers and associates. + Fork truck operation required.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $41600.00 – $52000.00/yr. Will have direct trainer for 3-4 months and a 90 day evaluation.
