Job Summary:
The Service Technician will complete trailer repairs including but not limited to: structural, suspension, body work, brakes, tarp systems, and wreck repairs. Safety bonuses are available immediately. Productivity and efficiency bonuses begin after 90 days.
Requirements:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose trailer issues, including structural, suspension, brake, and electrical components. Perform repairs and replacements on brake systems, including drums, pads, rotors, and air brake components. Repair and replace trailer suspension components such as leaf springs, shocks, axles, and bushings. Weld and fabricate structural and body components using MIG welding techniques. Troubleshoot and repair 12VDC electrical systems, including lighting, wiring harnesses, and connectors.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience with brake systems and trailer suspensions Understanding of 12VDC electrical MIG welding
Teamwork Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Work outdoors in various weather condition
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Previous mechanical technician experience
